Facing the port of Casablanca, the railway station is located at the meeting point between the medina, the art deco district and the new developments in the city centre
Facade side walls are transparent onto the city and platforms, allowing the passengers to clearly understand the organisation and functions before they enter the station

The main hall has an atrium opening to the lower level at its centre. The structural poles’ lower parts can be seen from the ground level, reinforcing the visual continuity between the levels
Shops and meeting points are located at the first underground level
The project is widely regarded as a beautiful and efficient architectural achievement

It is a Rabat-based architecture firm founded in 2000 by Skander Amine, a graduate of Braunschweig Technical University in Germany, and Omar Tijani, a graduate of Ecole d’Architecture Paris-la-Villette in France.
