Mohammed V mosque is located in the Marshan, and its minaret is the largest in the city. &nbsp;Its minaret towers significantly above the the next highest building in the city, the nearby Spanish Cathedral. &nbsp;It was completed 1983 on the orders of Mohammed VI, then the prince and heir apparent. &nbsp;
