This factory for Turkey’s largest signage manufacturer is conceptually a sign in itself, acting as an advertisement for the quality of the product. The L-shaped plan is fronted by an office building and showroom with a gently curving façade to reflect the fact that Nova’s founder was a rally driver. The production facility is laid out to suit the passage of materials through the building but work is organised around tables rather than production lines to create a friendly ambience. These tables are top lit and ventilated by skylights and the south façade is louvred. Cladding is a combination of glass and metal panels.
