A timber mosque of modest scale covered with asbestos cement roofing. Two different entrances, respectively for men and women are placed on either side of the prayer hall and lead in both cases to a covered verandah preceding the prayer hall. A small courtyard lined with covered passages adjoins the main hall on the south-east. A staircase links the men's ablution area to the verandah, thus avoiding backtracking. Some areas are walled with trellises and all spaces and passagers are covered with a gable roof for protection against sun glare and heavy rains.
