On the ground floor, the central, three-storey high atrium is occupied by the cafeteria, the lift, the escalator and information desk. A gallery, lined with shops, bounds this central space. On the first and second floor, the rows of shops follow the external, irregular shape of the building and their central galleries give onto the open space of the atrium, with the cafeteria below. The atrium is covered with a ceiling made of a steel space frame and painted wooden panels. The lighting is mainly artificial and the temperature is controlled by means of an air-conditioning system.
