This 328-bed holiday resort is a product of a general drive by Club Med to upgrade its image with a new phase of developments that are more integrated with the culture of the host country. The complex was built using local craft techniques and materials. Its reinforced concrete structure is finished with coloured render and decorative terracotta bricks and tilework. The arrangement of the spaces takes account of the topography of the site and reproduces the rhythms of traditional Moroccan architecture, featuring elements such as patios, colonnades and fountains.
