Sultan Qaboos University Landscaping

Muscat, Oman

The Sultan Qaboos University was designed to provide all the facilites of a modern campus. The landscaping plan was very closely linked to the conception of the various buildings that make up hte campus and aim at providing an integrated desert oasis setting. The landscaping plan drawss its inspiration from traditional Omani hill towns, built within defensive walls with secret gardens unfolding well within the interior constructed areas.
