The house is built on a small irregular plot of 72 m2 and organized around an open patio which allows both natural lighting and climatic control. Street façade openings have been kept few to reduce outside noise. The entrance door leads directly into the courtyard which is decorated with a fountain covered with ceramic tiles and placed on a raised platform at the right end of the patio. The original outer walls have been kept and consolidated where necessary. Modern finishes include traditional tile work for bathrooms, painted light-blue mashrabiyyas" covering windows.
