Located in the Jordan Valley, the Mud House includes a gallery, studio and artist's residence for Raghida Ghandour. It is constructed out of mud bricks made on site and features traditional forms such as a conical dome and barrel vaults. The floor plan, based on the vernacular, includes separate rooms for different functions that are linked with courtyards, pergolas and galleries.
The house was completed by Jordanian master builder Muallem Fadeel under the instruction and supervision of architect Amani Malhas El-Farhan and contractor Mr. Hazem Malhas.
