The resort is built around a central ancient irrigation basin, and consists of 41 pavilions and individual houses with courtyards, gardens and pools. The main building houses reception galleries, restaurants, a library, swimming pool, boutiques, a spa, and the kitchens. Traditional pise - a mixture of earth and quicklime from Marrakech - was used for the walls and the exterior finish is white cement mixed with pigment and straw on sea sand and mortar.
