A structure comprising few ornaments and inexpensive building materials, where traditional design was replaced by local architectural methods. The mihrab and the entrances are crowned with white stone, and the minaret, rises directly from the walls of the mosque. The tiled ceiling is constructed according to an ancient tradition best suited to the local climate. The building also includes wooden materials on the exterior, stained glass windows, and irregular local stone named "plaki" for the facades.
