Restoration of a private two-storey residence in Tehran, located on a 423 square metre property. The ground floor comprises a reception room, living room, kitchen, study, bathroom facilities and a storage room; bedrooms, bathrooms, a work area and laundry room are located on the second floor. Brick is the primary building material but recycled materials such as fences, railing, and wrought iron were also introduced. Modern conveniences such as ventilation and heating, an emergency water source, and camera circuits were added to this house that is inspired by traditional Iranian architecture.
