This two-storey house located in Permata Hijau was designed to accommodate a family with two children. The architectural programme is organised horizontally: the lowest level contains all the service areas while the master bedroom is at the highest level. Basic volumes are expressed through different materials and clearly defined functions inside the house are used to compose the general organisation of the plan. The simplicity of the design has offered the architect the opportunity to concentrate on design detail and innovative use of materials.
