Restoration of three adjoining houses as the Fine Arts, Architecture and Carpet departments of the University of Art, in Tabriz. Traditional methods and a variety of materials such as brick, lime, sand, and glass were used throughout the project. The idea of successfully and inexpensively rehabilitating old and discarded buildings has led to many other similar projects in the region, each time helping to revive local knowledge and training.
