Oriental Palace
Sayhat, Saudi Arabia

A private residence built entirely in hollow brick and cement mortar with no reinforced concrete. This allowed the architect to employ traditional forms, spaces, and volumes, even in a contemporary building with modern amenities. The building uses wind-catchers, shaded courts, and thick walls to regulate temperature in a natural manner.
