The residence consists of 40 units on four double-storey floors designed to accommodate more units than is usually permitted. The living room of each unit extends the full two-storey height and opens onto the north balcony. Each unit is entered from an exterior corridor on the south façade. The building is a reinforced concrete structure with cement block infill. The off-white facades are cement rendered. Interiors are plastered and painted. All construction work was done in-situ with local materials and labour.
