Cap Skirring Club Mediterranee
Cap Skirring, Senegal
The project is a tourist complex on the coast of Senegal comprising 300 guest rooms, 45 staff rooms, communal areas, and service and recreation facilities in a palm forest next to the beach. The resort is a highly organised, self-sufficient village intended to offer its guests sports, recreation, and social activities. The focus of the project is a J-plan communal building which houses a restaurant and bar, a theatre/cinema, and reception-social rooms. 300 guests are accommodated in 125 double- and 50 single-rooms. The one and two-storey high structures follow the contours of the surrounding. The communal area is timber-frame building, while the remaining structures are concrete with crushed sea-shell aggregate.
