The low-budget project provides housing for workers and lower management staff in a nearby factory, and comprises 48 apartments that measure 50 square metres, and six units of 100 square metres; they are contained in five three-storey blocks arranged to provide open public areas and to nurture a sense of community and neighbourhood. Each individual unit contains a multi-functional space at the entrance with a kitchen on one side and toilets on the other, and two rooms beyond that can be personalised by the residents; a variety of exterior spaces encourages outdoor activities on the open corridors and staircases. The concrete-frame structures with brick infill and concrete panels are plastered.
