Üsküdar Orta Valide Sultan Mosque (MEGT)

The mosque was founded by the mother of Murad III in 1577. Evliya Çelebi (Seyahatnâmesi, 1:142a) describes the mosque’s outer courtyard as filled with plane and linden trees.
