The seven-storey building provides teaching for students from kindergarten through high-school, and schoolrooms are organised by age groups on different floors - classrooms for younger students are located on the ground floor with direct access to outdoor play areas; sports facilities for older students are provided outdoors on the roof above the fourth floor. The main mass of the building is organised around a central void that measures 4 x 73 metres and is covered by a skylight that provides natural lighting to all floors. The concrete structure features concrete block façades within concrete recesses that are angled on those sides that receive strongest sunlight; panels of hollow blocks permit natural ventilation.
