Sala de Dos Hermanas

Built under the patronage of Muhammad V, the Hall of Two Sisters is located in the Palace of Lions. The Hall is named after two large twin marble flagstones that are now a part of the floor. This square hall is the second main chamber in the Palace. The main door which is decorated with geometric shapes open the room to the small central found which channels water to the Patio of Lions. The ceiling is supported by a dome of mocarabes and the skirting boards along the walls possess a notable poem by Ibn Zamrak.
