Jaliqiyya Tomb Restoration
Jerusalem

This Mamluk tomb was inhabited by residents and the structure was added to and extended over many years in a haphazard manner without technical guidance or professional supervision. The restoration effort included returning the building to a pristine condition, retrofitting it to accommodate residential usage and restoring it. New lightweight removable structures were installed as part of the retrofit as well as modern utilities that conform to international standards.
