The ground floor of this residence houses a family of four, while the first floor includes living spaces for guests. The upper-floor entrance and staircase are located in a gap in the centre of the house. Above the staircase, a yard, private from the world, is connected to the main yard on the ground floor, so linking outside and inside gardens. The ground floor is divided into private spaces on the eastern wing and common areas on the west. Where these meet is a square living-room, the geometrical and functional centre of the house. Exterior façades and part of the interior spaces such as the four pillars shaping the living room are of brick.
