This project involved the renovation of an existing reinforced concrete building with an emphasis on creating an open plan office system with fluid spatial configurations. This has been achieved through a reconsideration of the two existing buildings, a two-storey building and an adjacent five-storey building, as one single building, with the horizontal integration of the former with the first two floors of the latter, via interior streets formed with ramps, resulting in horizontal permeability and circulation. The "B" Block of the building contains a café, library, resting and meeting spaces which are popular with users as the building is situated at a distance from the facilities of the city centre.
