The building serves as the main assemble hall for the UIniversity of Indonesia and features:
- natural ventilation;
- extended spaces with distance-viewing;
- multiple roofing to avoid sun and rain; and
- enlargement of vernacular roof-shape for ventilation purpose.
The principal structure is made of a pre-fabricated steel frame with brick infill. The façade rendering is exposed concrete cast in-situ.
