The kindergarten building takes on a playful and open-ended plan. Playful, in the sense that the kindergarten is conceived as a child's fantasy of his own building, that welcomes him and offers him in addition to classroom teaching, an envelope of informal experiences, encounters and stimulants. Wherever possible, the elevation, window, door, fittings, and furniture are scaled down to child's size. Bright colors, textures, geometrical shapes, traditional patterns, natural light and plants are introduced to add warmth.
