The design is simple and straight forward with clear, well-defined spaces and neat and clean facades with a traditional Bahraini character. The structure itself consists of steel frame and the roof is spanned with steel trusses. The external walls are precast concrete panels and first floor slab is made up of precast hollow core slabs. The building is two storeys high and consists of two blocks: administrative, and an auditiorium, linked by the entrance foyer. The external facades consists of a series of arched at ground floor level with GRC screens, and a recess at the top, broken up by the double height entrance to the building.
