The house deals with the dilemma of balancing the strong and rich arabic cultural heritage within the context of a western contemporary setting. It exploits the universal humanistic elements of Islamic design and expresses it in a modern western architectural language. The subtle introduction of calligraphy, the strength of the formal "char bagh" courtyard design.
