Bay County Islamic Society
Panama City, United States

The Bay County Islamic Society was founded in 1984, and according to Omar Khalidi, their mosque on Token Road in Panama City was built in 1990-1991 by the architect Medhat Ernesky. It is an example of what Khalidi calls "innovative" mosque design, or one that departs from traditional Islamic elements and style.

The building is single-story and faced in brick, with no minaret or dome. The front facade is broken up by an entrance portico.
