Architect's Residence and Studio
Dhaka, Bangladesh

The project consists of two buildings, situated in a L-shaped pattern, and marking off two distinct activities, which, while separated are linked together. The domestic space extends into the office/studio. Climatic conditions have been taken into consideration, and the L-shape helps to optimize air and light flow into built areas. The shape also helps to create a private lawn, which is shaded in the afternoons, providing outdoor space for family relaxation.
