Legzira Village (Handicraft Cooperatives & Workspaces Collection)

Due to the economic depression in southern Morocco, many villagers have decided to convert their homes into a hub for attracting tourists. Legzira village is one example, where locals have taken advantage of an important area for surfing in the Sidi Ifni province to attract tourism. The images in this collection were taken in 2017 by Parham Karimi as part of the "Handicraft Cooperatives and Workspaces in the MENA Region" project.
