Alireza Taghaboni is an Iranian architect, painter and university lecturer. He has received his bachelor and master of architecture & urban planning at Gilan University of Rasht. By the start of his PhD research at the Science & Researches branch of Islamic Azad University in Tehran, within the years of 2002-2007 he sternly and unyieldingly started participating in architectural competitions when his ideas and designs were introduced to fellow architectures by his numerous and inevitable wins. He is the former director and project manager of a joined practice named Razan Text & Context which he had co-founded in 2007. In 2010, he founded his own firm nextoffice where he has been practicing architecture up to present. His current team members come from professional backgrounds that include architecture, model making, fabrication, product design, sculpture, landscape design, building and facilities construction.
