Gonca Paşolar, along with Emre Arolat, was one of the founding members of Emre Arolat Architects (2004) with Emre Arolat, as an extension of Arolat Architects (1961). Paşolar, who began working with Arolat Architects in 2002, is a coordinator and project manager for the firm, whose projects have included terminals at Dalaman Airport, and complexes and hotels throughout Turkey. The firm has been recognized internationally, and in 2014, was the recipient of several awards at the World Architecture Festival in Singapore for the Yalikavak Marina Complex and the Antakya Museum Hotel. Paşolar's clients have included municipalities, universities and private commissioners; among them are the General Directorate of State Airports Authority; Middle East Technical University; Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University; the Asfuroglu family; Atilla Olce; and Bergama Municipality. In 2015, Paşolar was shortlisted for the 2015 Woman Architect of the Year Award.
