"Built in 1902 for the Deunmeh community4, Yeni Cami is the first identified work of Vita­liano Poselli in Thessaloniki. In 1925, after the departure of all Muslims, the mosque was slightly modified in order to house the newly established archaeological museum of the city. At present it is used by the Municipality as an exhibition hall."
