Lobna Montasser is an art and architecture historian, specialising in heritage conservation. Since 2011, she has been the Media Officer at the Aga Khan Trust for Culture. Lobna collaborates with the Aga Khan Documentation Center at MIT to develop the Trust’s content and data for Archnet. She is also involved in the Aga Khan Award for Architecture’s documentation process. Prior to that, she served as a consultant for scientific appraisals.
Lobna graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the Universities of Geneva, Lausanne, Neuchâtel and Fribourg, and received a Master of Advanced Studies in Cultural Heritage and Museology in March 2011. She also holds a Master in Art History and in Italian languages and civilisation from Geneva University.
