Saja Nashashibi completed her degree in architecture from the University of Jordan in 2004. After which she had the chance to work with a multi-disciplinary corporate firm in Amman on a wide range of projects, from interior to urban planning. She then moved to a design firm where she was more involved in the design process and conceptual thinking.
In 2010, Saja managed to fulfill part of her dream and establish Paradigm Design House with her partner, Abdel Rahman Kaloti. Paradigm DH was a chance to shift the paradigms of current thinking and approach to design in a society to a completely different one. Synthesizing into a new well thought built environment, architecture that belongs to its nature and people. After graduating and working for almost six years and deciding for a need to refresh and give to architecture differently, the opportunity arose to teach design at the Jordan University. This not only helped to give back but also to broaden her perspectives and stay up to date with new theories and design concepts through the teaching process.
Established in 2010 by architects Abdel Rahman Kaloti and Saja Nashashibi, Paradigm Design House is a collaboration of talented architects and designers whose main aim is to transform creative potentials brought by design opportunities into reality. Services include architecture, landscape, interior, renovation and rehabilitation and the team works with clients through an integrated approach where design, research and professional skills come together in order to deliver a unique and personal product. At Paradigm Design House, the team is fully aware that everything it does has expansive implications and consequences, well beyond architecture, affecting the environment, local economies and community.
