Constructed to house 150 orphans in a modern setting and to provide for their educational and recreational needs, the Children's Home is comprised of three basic building blocks, set in a landscaped garden. A three storey residential building with classrooms and teaching facilities; a two storey dining hall and club house; and a one storey sports hall. The buildings are built of brick with a seismic iron-concrete core and the landscaped grounds include gardens and outdoor sports fields.
