This office project also includes a café, parking lot and gardens. It is organised around a black basalt stone wall that defines the various functions and delineates the public zone to create a space appropriate for exhibitions. The entrance is also built from local basalt, contrasting with an extruded glass cube that punctures the facade. A close connection with the landscape is established via courtyard spaces and large areas of glazing draw natural light and views of greenery inside. The intention has been to create a comfortable working environment, adapting architecture to people’s needs with local materials and environmentally sustainable construction techniques.
