Savoy Homann Bidakara Hotel
Bandung, Indonesia
The Savoy Homann is an Art Deco hotel with a grand past and considerable architectural importance. The renovation of the building was designed to preserve its original style while revitalising its physical fabric to bring it up to 4-star standard. Improved facilities include a spa, additional meeting rooms and new guestrooms in the garden wing. The front elevation was left unchanged, except for a new lighting scheme and hotel sign. The main structure was likewise kept intact; instead of adding a new ME shaft, mechanical and electrical access was provided by splitting the floor level in the guestrooms.
