A new terminal for Aswan Airport based on multiple layers of historical reference. The airside entrance facade is an abstract re-interpretation of Aswan High Dam, while the roof forms allude to vernacular Nubian vaults and to Pharaonic segmental domes. Reflective glazing is used for climate control.
