A multi-storied commercial building situated in the centre of Kampala, on a 1,740 square metre site. Built with the financial backing of King Fahd of Saudi Arabia, it is designed for rental, as a means of generating income for the Islamic University of Uganda. The Plaza includes seven floors of offices, shops, a restaurant, prayer halls, and a basement car park. Building materials were principally imported from Arab Gulf States and include concrete, marble and ceramic tiles, and aluminium.
