Luxor Cultural Centre
Luxor, Egypt
"Designed for the Ministry of Culture, this centre was intended to be located in the heart of the town of Luxor itself near the Fatimid Mosque of Sidi al-Wahsh, and the park that is adjacent to it. Only the main hall of the large complex has been completed, however, but tue architect's intentions for natural ventilation have been ignored. A large malkaf that was intended to cool the entire inside area has been built, but closed off, rendering the entire roof form meaningless." (partially constructed)
