Qasr Baron Empain

Cairo, Egypt

The Palace of Baron Empain, in the new city of Heliopolis, was constructed by the French architect Alexander Marcel. The palace's eclectic forms evoke Hindu palace architecture, and can be seen in the context of an early 20th century Cairene revival of various historical styles.
