Canopy Tower at the Citadel
Cairo, Egypt
The Tower of the Canopy, or Burj al-Rafraf, is located in the southern enclosure of the Citadel. It was built during the Bahri Mamluk period, and derives its name from the canopy constructed on top of it in 1292 under al-Ashraf Khalil.
