The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Algiers is the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Algiers. Constructed in 1956 and consecrated in 1963, it replaced the Cathédrale Saint-Philippe when it was returned to its original function as the Ketchaoua Mosque.
