The site is situated at an altitude of 1,800 meters above sea level with a buildable area of only 3,000m2. The building is four-storeys connected by a service lift and staircases. The undulating and cascading hip roof continues the topography of the hill and maintains the human scale. The scale of the building is reduced by breaking up the façade with projections and recesses. The use of timber fenestrations and roof brackets softens the built form.
