The Islamic Center of Irvine (ICOI) was founded in 2004. It is a two-story stucco building with red clay roof tile, situated at the end of a cul-de-sac. The architectural style reflects the Center's California location, and there is no minaret or external dome. Inside, shallow domes sit above the main section of the prayer hall and the women's balcony. The mihrab and minbar are both ornamented with calligraphy and patterned tile.
