The present report constitutes the Mid-Term Report submitted to the World Bank by the UNISDR secretariat for the World Bank’s Development Grant Facility (DGF) FY08.&nbsp;<br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;"><br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;">Through Track-I, Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR) responds to disaster risk reduction needs at the global and regional levels in line with the Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA) priorities. With funding from the World Bank’s Development Grant Facility, the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction Secretariat manages the Track I work program. Track-I epitomizes the strong partnership for disaster risk reduction that the UN and the World Bank have formed through GFDRR.
