This 6-month project will mitigate the tension between the district’s villages by rehabilitating the Kalama-Kungoi canal that supplies irrigation water for 4,401 people from four villages of Alai Rayon, through improving the capacity of local government and community structures on the management and maintenance of the given water supply system. Moreover, ACTED will organize village information sessions to inform the population on the progress of the project.
