This document is in relation to the Islamic Center of Tripoli, Libya. The center included a Jami' mosque with minarets, a Dar al-Fatwa, an administration building for pious endowments (Idarat al-Awqaf), and a court for Sharia law. Fathy offers some comments in this document on modern Islamic architecture and the importance of maintaining an Islamic cultural identity in the design of current structures.
